About Ryedale Dog Rescue
We are a local charity, registered with the Charity Commision, and founded in 2005. Our goal is to rescue and rehome dogs in Ryedale and East Yorkshire. Our policy is to rehome dogs within a thirty mile radius of the Malton area. See our About page for more information about the charity.
Our adoption policy
To get the best possible outcome for our rescued dogs and potential owners, we have a rigourous adoption process. This includes home visits to prospective owners and follow up after support if required. Please go to the Our Adoption Policy page for more information.
Dogs for Adoption
Details of our dogs for adoption are advertised on this site. You can find them by clicking on Dogs for Adoption in the main menu or from any of the posts displayed on the site. It’s worth checking in regularly to see what dogs are available. If you don’t see your new furry friend on our site, you can always email us at enquiries@ryedaledogrescue.org.uk and register an interest in adopting.
Events
Throughout the year RDR volnteers run a whole range of fundraising and other events. These include market stalls, fun dog shows, pop-up shops and an auction. If you’re interested in attending an event, details are advertised on this site at Events and our Facebook page. If you want to volunteer to work with us or invite us to an event please email fundraising@ryedaledogrescue.org.uk
Partnerships
